I wish I could help - but alas I have never worked on a hot head. I am on a minor burner - which allows for tweakign of oxy and propane. I do know people have mastered Rubino on the hothead, I am just not sure how. :)

Hi Kandice, unfortunately I am still on a hot head, and am having difficulty with my technique to keep this beautiful color from over-silvering. It just goes charcoal on me. Sometimes I can bring it back, but most of the time I can't.

Any tips for use with the hothead torch?
